The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Heather Gay is shedding light on a surprising connection between one of her former costars and The Covert Lives of Mormon Wives' Demi Engemann.
"I know Demi and Bret [Engemann] because that's Angie Harrington's ex-husband," the Bravo star exclusively told E! News, "and we're good friends."
That's right, Demi's husband Bret used to be married to the RHOSLC alum and the exes even share two children.
"It’s Small Lake City, totally," Heather noted, adding that she's still secure with Angie, who left after season three in 2022. "She lives a little bit farther away from me, but we still stay in touch."

The Gay family is worth billions, so I basically married into Mormon royalty.”

I can barely say ex-husband, I always say the girls' father, or my husband. It's hard for me to even say that," she continued. "I never direction with me being divorced. I don't know why. It's favor a giant scarlet letter, favor this giant stamp of defeat. I've never been able to really break away from it."
She does admit, however, that the show has given her a new lease on life and even instilled her with some much-needed confidence. "Throughout filming, I was able to see myself as independent and as an individual. And this has been like, I wouldn't say therapeutic, but it's been healing to kind of come into my own a little bit," she explained. "Now I can utter ex-husband, I can say I'm divorced without, you know, trembling and crying," she added.
