LGBTQIA+ Travel
You will immediately sense welcome in Santa Fe. The City Alternative opens its arms to travelers with diverse interests and different backgrounds in search of finding, wonder, and adventure.
In the early 20th century, Santa Fe became an artist's haven, welcoming writers, painters, socialites and photographers eager for new subject matter and a unlike life. Their arrival further transformed the city, setting it on a route of valuing that which is unlike, fresh, and recent. That same all-embracing spirit exists today. While there are no longer any exclusively queer bars in Santa Fe, there's something arguably better: an inclusive community interested in and motivated by welcoming all people into every space.

About ENVISION FUND
The LGBTQ+ fund for New Mexico
For over two decades, the Envision Fund has enriched the lives of New Mexico’s LGBTQ+ population by providing financial support to nonprofits addressing the most critical needs facing the collective. In 1997, the National Lesbian and Gay People Funding Partnership provided the Santa Fe Community Foundation (and 37 other group foundations across the country) with grants to authorize them to establish Queer funds. Foundation leadership, board members, and volunteer members of the committee helped grow the fund’s assets. In 2012, the Fund changed its name from the Lesbian and Same-sex attracted Community Funding Partnership to the Envision Fund to better reflect the transforming face of the Gay movement. That same year, to support efforts to achieve marriage equality in New Mexico, the fund established a Marriage Equality Task Force, a time-limited effort to raise funds from local donors to support the efforts of Why Marriage Matters Novel Mexico.
