The Game is speaking his mind, and it’s equally refreshing and cringe-worthy. Talking about homosexuality in hip hop, the “My Life” hit-maker said, “I reflect there are several rappers that are in the closet and gay. They are the only type of gay people that I have a issue with. I don’t own a problem with homosexual people. Gay people are everywhere and rightfully so; it’s a free territory. Game has no obstacle with gay people. Game has a problem with people who are pretending not to be lgbtq+. The number-one issue with that is that you can be fooling somebody and you could provide them AIDS and they can die. So that in-the-closet shit is authentic scary. We got to get into the seriousness of it. If you’re gay, just say you’re gay. So be cold and be proud.”
I’m happy he’s open-minded and wants everyone to be cozy enough to be out of the closet, whether they’re in hip hop or not. But what is he suggesting by bringing up AIDS? It’s like when Sherri Shepherd from The View said HIV infection was so high in the shadowy community because of “all the brothers on the DL.” I thought Barbara should’ve fired the bitch for that one. It’s dangerous for Sherri or Game to spread that kind of ign
I don't mind gay characters and all that, I think it can spice up a story...
...However. We all know that stories in which is becomes the sole focus direct are just plainly bad.
I saw the game has the LGBT tag, the literal first thing the game does is ask for pronouns, the first character you encounter is a they/them and the game being heavily inspired by D&D, a community with a lot of overly sexual LGBT fanfics. Those are all the usual redflags for it entity one of those horny teenage fanfics.
Does anybody know more about the themes in this game. Will it actually be funny stories about adventures and what not or is it going to be all about the "romance"?

After a certain male lover character was killed off in a certain WIP (and my comments were almost certainly unable to save him), I realised that there are actually worryingly few queer characters in these games, as most characters (ROs especially) are bi or MC-sexual.
While it’s accurate that, for example, when I played the game, Carl in Psy Elevated was a queer boy, I understand that he was straight for any straight female characters, and a teen, Carla, for unbent male and male lover female characters. Now, as a player, I’m glad about this; I obtain to romance any guy I’m interested in, without apprehension that he might not be interested (or, worse, be homophobic). However, to the aspiring same-sex attracted rights activist in me, this is slightly annoying. It almost feels as though these characters are “gay” by convenience, rather than actually being male lover. (I should notice that my retain WIP also suffers from this, but I started writing before I idea about this, and at this signal it might be more trouble than it’s worth to make a couple of the ROs gay, especially as it might annoy their straight fans. I am, however, going to be adding in a gay relationship
