Dustin Lynch Reveals the ‘Scariest Thing’ About Dating in Nashville
Dustin Lynch is unattached, but hesitant to mingle — at least in Nashville.
During an appearance on the Viall Files podcast with Nick Viall, the country singer was asked what his favorite and least favorite thing is about dating.
"I get in my head," Lynch admits. "Least favorite thing for me is — it's probably why I haven't allowed myself to date in Nashville — it's just like, I'm scared of the gossip that happens afterward."
While thinking about the end of a relationship isn't the best way to start one, the "Stars Prefer Confetti" singer may have a signal. Music City is a perpetual tiny town with so many people active in the tune industry in some capacity. And while Lynch wouldn't contribute to the chatter, he's worried an previous lover might.
"I feel appreciate as guys, appreciate , I'm not gonna go back on tour and be like, 'Man, so this is how this date went,'" he explains. "They're not gonna grant a crap to ask me about her."

Dustin Lynch Gives an Update on His Love Life: ‘I’m Lonely’
Dustin Lynch has a lot happening in his work life, having recently wrapped up his tumble Party Mode Tour, but when updating Taste of Country on his cherish life, the singer says he has nothing recent to report.
"Man, I want I could say I have good news and say I'm off the market, but I don't," he told Taste of Country Nights' Evan Paul leading up to the CMA Awards. "I'm lonely!"
It's not that Lynch isn't hopeful that he'll meet someone, but he's not too sure how meeting that someone special will happen. He admits he's not one for dating apps, and when he's off the route, he spends most of his time recharging at home.
"I'm terrible at knowing how to meet people right now, because when I come off the road, I just call for to veg and chill and recluse," he shares.
As for the kind of person he's looking for? Lynch didn't explicitly say, but he did hint that he's "a sucker for brunettes with light eyes."
