Gay church service

Jeremiah KaayaSupporterPastor at Springs of Power Church, Teacher by professionalHow we package homosexuality can never make it acceptable. It is an abomination like one sleeping with their parents, sleeping with beasts, and if we have accepted none of these, neither will we accept gay. Identify you, it is not us to deny or accept, the standard has already been set by God, gay is not only a sin, it is an abomination. Whatever we are discussing here or there is our business, not God's. On that note therefore, I can't attend a homosexual affirming "church" because to be gay is already non-Christian, for that reason I would be attending something else not a Christian Church, at least not one Jesus the CHRIST died for. I thank God for His Son Jesus the CHRIST, had it not been Him, at the right hand of God the Father, pleading for us day and night, in the hope that we will transform, this planet would have already suffered the fate of of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus stands between us and God the Father, otherwise, His wrath would own already finished us. Enable us stop bragging about sin, more so abominations like gay, because if we don't, soon people will begin to ask for to freely practice inc

LGBTQ+ in the Church

For decades, LGBTQ+ Episcopalians and allies have worked to make The Episcopal Church a place of belonging and inclusion. We have prayed, studied, and discerned, and in doing so, we have seen the evidence of God’s blessing in the lives and love of our LGBTQ+ siblings in Christ

In 2026, we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of our church affirming that LGBTQ+ people have a complete and equal claim to the affection, acceptance, and pastoral care of the church. The journey to make that promise a existence continues today, as we remember the struggles, celebrate the joy, and offer thanks for devote and for lives that refuse to be erased.

Today in The Episcopal Church, discernment for the ministries of bishop, priest, deacon, and lay leadership is open to all without discrimination. We celebrate and offer thanks for the beauty, strength, and sacred worth of LGBTQ+ leaders across all contexts and callings.

We invite you to join us on the journey. You belong. No exceptions.
