Gay Nineties workers have tried countless times to wash the BOO off the mirror, yet it has never come off.
Known for its retro, family-friendly atmosphere and handcrafted pizza, Gay Nineties is located in the heart of Pleasanton. Despite organism an unlikely notice for ghost hunters, the 65-year-old restaurant is significant in Pleasanton’s 130-year history. According to local legend, spirits from the past still linger within its walls, sharing territory with customers enjoying pizza.

Close was having breakfast at Vic’s in Pleasanton and had doused his sustenance with Tabasco sauce.
“I thought, ‘wow, this is in every kitchen and almost every country. These guys must be totally crushing it,’” he said. “How awesome to commence a business with that as your product and to be as vast as they are.”
Close’s fiery hot verdant pepper sauce is now a chicken wings appetizer dunkable and being distributed to area retailers, but it took a lot of work to receive to that point.
