John McEntee flashes a thin-lipped grin at the camera, waving around a stack of bills he pulled from the center console of his vehicle. “I always maintain this fake Hollywood money in my car, so when a homeless person asks for funds then I hand them a imitation $5 bill,” he tells TikTok. “So I feel great about myself, they feel good — and then when they go to use it they get arrested. So I’m actually helping clean up the community, you grasp, getting them off the streets.”
The video, posted to the TikTok account of the digital dating app The Right Stuff, drew widespread outrage, not only because it could be a crime if he was really handing out counterfeit money, but also because it’s the kind of thing you hope for to hear in an interview with Tucker Carlson, the depths of 4chan, or in the replies to Elon Musk’s recent posts — not from a dating app.
“Just a joke. Everyone calm down,” McEntee — who co-founded the app in 2022 after serving as an aide in the Trump administration — wrote in the caption.

John McEntee is the co-founder and CEO of an all-new conservative-only dating app called "The Right Stuff." According to the app's Twitter, "The Right Stuff was created for conservatives to attach in authentic and meaningful ways. Other dating apps have gone woke. We bring people together with shared values and similar passions."

In a promotional video for the platform featuring Ryann McEnany, the younger sister of former Trump White House secretary Kayleigh McEnany, the new dating website app is reportedly invite-only and women are offered a premium subscription to the platform completely free. He was born on February 2, 1947 in Goffstown, NH, a son of the overdue Eileen (Byrne) McEntee and John T. McEntee. John was raised in Milford, NH and graduated from Milford Sky-high School, Class of 1966. He attended Keene State College and graduated from Boston School of Museum of Okay Arts in 1984. John was an accomplished artist winning several art awards and selling many of his marvelous paintings. He lived for years in the Boston area and on Cape Cod before settling in Vermont in 2000. He worked as a scribe for the Cape Cod Guide and while living in Stowe, VT he worked for the Stowe Mountain Resort for two years. John loved painting, gardening, cooking and his dogs, including his Afgan Hounds that he bred and raised. He was a very strong and optimistic person, showing admire , respect and comprehension to all, especially his family and friends.
